The Great American Melting Pot
A patrol officer does not have the training or the skills necessary to determine the citizenship status of individuals who are more than likely detained during a routine traffic stop. This autonomy and unconstitutional sixth sense will lead to prejudicial and racist practices. What reasonable qualifications does it take for an officer to request legal status documentation; accents, skin color, name, type of car? Surely the forefathers of this great nation did not intend for the world’s tired, poor,” your huddled masses yearning to breathe free” to be turned away at the Golden door. Many of these immigrants proposed for deportation would be separated from the only land they had ever known because of parents who risked everything in order to pursue happiness and better opportunities in America.

The Migration

This journey to America is a tale forged in every single descendent of this continent minus the native people who were subjugated and uprooted; but that’s a whole different story. To think that neighboring countries citizens not being able to compete or assimilate to the most admired terrestrial labor force.  How many Americans have not heard folklore describing the manner in which their bloodline and namesakes came to be in this great land, a most prideful family event, no doubt for millions and millions of hard-working, salt of the earth Americans? They brought with them cultures and customs that have enriched this hemisphere into the envy of the world and struck fear into the heart of tyranny. They made sacrifices in times of war; many drafted in the great wars defending the very principles and freedoms that are today taken for granted.


                            What Jobs Are left to Steal?


Today’s freedom seekers spend much if not all of their income inside the borders of the United States. They contribute mightily to the economic juggernaut that has become the engine that drives global fiscal policies. They strengthen the American labor force and are not responsible for causing scarcity among employment. It is not as if every illegal working immigrant is swimming their cash back to the countries of their parent’s native birth. They are an intricate part of the American consumer market paying and contributing to government revenues. They might not be paying income taxes but surely many American citizens dealing in cash businesses are not completely forthcoming in regards to their annual salaries and the income taxes owed. This is a problem with the tax code and is the responsibility of government to remedy. Deportation does not increase the tax base or create new jobs.
              
  Shipping Jobs Overseas 

 Employment is increasingly outsourced to foreign corporations or US corps conducting business abroad in some friendly allies’ backyard that which there is a free trade agreement. Much of the labor forces outside of the United States border on out-right enslavement. American citizens passively stand idle and permit representatives to act in their worst interest and then turn on immigrants who have traveled to the United States because of fear they will take away the morsels left behind by politicians swinging golf clubs and eating their fill. It is the responsibility of the legislative and executive branch to protect their constituent’s livelihoods by providing the American worker with an edge; an advantage through investments in higher education and training with useful skills that will prepare the U.S. labor force in modern innovations and new technologies for the coming future and beyond. This is the foundation that has been laid and pioneered that has expanded the middle class and propelled American excellence that has made historic achievements and been revered by the world. America is a symbol of hopes and possibilities, a beacon of light in an ever darkening time of economic uncertainty.
 
Political Economics

 The judicial branch of government has put their boot up the dress of lady liberty and doused her flames. The people of Arizona and others sister states that have been let down by their representatives and have succumbed to this sociological perspective are not at fault. Their frustration and struggle has been pushed to its limits; they have just mistakenly misdirected their anger.
